Our classes
Spotlight
Our Spotlight class offers our youth the opportunity to develop and learn about what to expect during an interview. They will engage in mock interviews, learn appropriate attire, and how to communicate with employers. This class will give our youth the preparation they need to be successful during the interview process.
Leadership
Our Leadership class gives our youth hands on experience by getting involved within the community. We teach leadership skills by serving others within our community such as helping other non-profits that serve the homeless community and anywhere there is a need for volunteers and services. This class teaches the importance of servant leadership.
mENTOR
PROGRAM
Our Mentor Program focuses on building solid relationship that our youth can rely on. We match each mentee with the best mentor through an extensive matching process, each mentee is matched with a mentor that we believe would be the best fit. We meet weekly to give our mentors and mentees a safe place to meet. We provide food, games, and relationship building activities. Parents and caregivers also have the opportunity to engage with their child's mentor to discuss goals and concerns for their youth. Our goal is to provide a positive and impactful experience for our youth.
wRITING WITH A
PURPOSE
Our Writing With A Purpose class gives our youth the knowledge and skill on how to write a resume'. We give hands on examples by practicing with resume template. Once completed we come together with our Spotlight class giving our youth the opportunity to showcase their resumes in a mock interview.
