Volunteer Job Descriptions
Servant Leadership Coordinator
In this position you will be responsible for overseeing the students that are required to obtain community service hours. You must be wiling to help in any area of need, as leaders we are not called to just watch the students but be willing to serve alongside them. We assist with 5 Loaves Food Pantry every third Saturday of the month. You must have a passion to serve others and mentor the students and build relationship. Hours are 8:00am- 12pm every third Saturday.
Class Instructor
In this position you will have the opportunity to lead some of our classes, such as resume writing, interviewing skills, Anger Management and Tobacco Awareness. You must be available for one Friday out of the month. Hours are 7:30pm-9:00pm.
Mentorship
In this position it requires commitment and consistency. You would be assigned one or two students for you to partner with. You would be asked to attend at minimum two Fridays out of the month to ensure you are meeting with your mentee. We ask for you to attend class in order for you to have a comfortable meeting location. All mentors will have a required training. You should have a passion to serve at-risk youth, build relationship and understand the importance of consistency and commitment. Hours are 7:30pm-9:00pm.
